Question: Can you run Imbsen software on Windows XP or Vista?

Answer: Yes, you can run all Imbsen Software programs in either Windows XP or Vista.

Question: Do you have a network version for each of your Imbsen programs?

Answer: Yes, you can purchase either a single user license or a network license depending on your needs.

Question: Is there a price difference between the single user license and a network license?

Answer: Yes there is a price difference typically a network license is twice the cost of a single user license.

Question: Do we accept international orders?

Answer: Yes we accept international orders.

Question: For international orders how is payment made to Imbsen Software?

Answer: For all international orders payment must be wired in advance into our bank account. Once payment has been confirmed received we can send out the software to the client.

Question: How fast can we get the software once we place an order?

Answer:Once an order has been placed we can have the client download the software and use it immediately.

Question: I am requesting an educational license why have I not heard back from Imbsen Software with my request?

Answer: Due to the high volume of educational license request you will need to provide all information in your request email. In your email you will need to provide contact information such as email/telephone # for your instructor, university course name, university course number, university address and which software you are interested in using. If any information in the request email is missing you will not get a response back from our staff.

Question: Can you get camber from BDS?

Answer: The graphics used to report camber, but it was taken out. Camber is not found in the output file.

Question: In SEISAB, can you model a column with different heights?

Answer: Yes. See page B-17, POL Input File in User Manual and page A-43, Screen Menu.

Question: Pier at bent has 2 different elevations. How do you enter multiple elevations in SEISAB?

Answer: You can only enter one. Take the average of the two different elevations.

Question: In SEISAB, how do you enter 2 bearings at a bent?

Answer: One will be for the fore span and the other for the back span.

Question: In SEISAB, does it matter what type of footings for columns? (Example: User has 3 columns with separate spread footings. If you reference page A-66 menu screen, "Bent Foundation Menu," Option B - "Same foundations for all columns".

Answer: Yes, it does matter. In the above example, 3 columns with 3 separate footings, this is what the program assumes. If the user had 3 columns with one combined spread footing, then he would have to tie the columns together with arbitrary beam elements.
